May 1 - Copies of Proposed Municipal and School Budget with overviews of programs will be available at the Town Hall for all interested citizens.
May 6 - Set Public Hearing on Operating Budget and Budget Presentation
May 7 - Budget Presentation/Workshop on the Proposed School & Municipal Operating Budgets (Councilors workshop with School/ Municipal Officials to review budgets)
May 7-8 - Public Sessions - (Members of the public will be given two sessions to meet with Municipal Administrators to gather information on budgets).
May 7 - Municipal Budget 5:00 p.m. - 6:15 p.m.
May 8 - Municipal Budget 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.
May 5-9 - Individual Councilor Meetings - Meetings with individual councilors to review school and municipal operating budget requests. (Councilors will be responsible for setting up meetings by contacting the Manager and Superintendent).
May 20 - Public Hearing on Proposed FY 09 Operating Budgets
May 21 - Workshop on Proposed Municipal Budget
May 22 - Workshop on Proposed School Budget
May 27 - Workshop on Proposed FY 09 Operating Budget
May 31 - Meeting to adopt a Proposed FY 09 Operating Budget (Saturday, 10 a.m.)
June 10 - Primary Election- School Budget Validation Vote
June 17 - Regular Council Meeting
All sessions will be held in the Town Hall Council Chambers at 7:00 p.m. unless otherwise noted.
