Full-time Children's Room Circulation Clerk
The successful candidate must have experience working with the public, especially children; exceptional customer service skills; the ability to work in an environment that can be energetic and lively; an outgoing personality; and computer and internet proficiency. College degree or equivalent experience is desired.
The Children's Room Circulation Clerk performs a variety of circulation tasks related to the operation of the library under the supervision of the Children's Librarian and the Library Director. Typical duties include: staffing the circulation desk, leading Story Time, shelving, pulling holds, providing Reader's Advisory, and assisting patrons locate library materials.
The vacancy is for a 38 hour/week position. The work schedule will include evening and Saturday hours.

Full-time Adult Programming Librarian
The successful candidate must have exceptional customer service skills, be very detail-oriented, able to work in a busy library, and possess strong technology skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, databases, mobile devices, and the internet. Minimum Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field or one to three years of library circulation experience is required. Knowledge of Sierra ILS and Minerva consortium is desired.
The Adult Programming Librarian is responsible for coordinating, planning, and executing adult programming; managing the meeting room; building community relations and being an active face of the Library while assisting patrons at the adult circulation desk and with technology appointments.
The vacancy is for a 38 hour/week position. The work schedule will include evening hours and occasional Saturday coverage.
