SHELLFISH CONSERVATION COMMISSION

The Shellfish Conservation Commission is a board in town government that works in concert with the Shellfish Warden on behalf of the Town Council. The goal of the Commission is to assist in preserving a viable fishery in Freeport. It is established by section 401 of the Shellfish Conservation Ordinance, which details its various duties.
