On April 27, 2021 the Freeport Town Council adopted an ordinance regulating the short-term rental of residential properties. The ordinance application form and checklist can be accessed below. The fee is $100 per application. Checks should be made payable to the Town of Freeport.
You will need to provide a copy of your Property Deed. If you cannot find a copy you may access it at the Cumberland County Registry of Deeds.
